Challenge

Following its acquisition in late 2025, Bodycare set out to re-establish itself on the UK high street with an ambitious growth strategy. With plans to open 25 stores in 2026 and expand to 200 locations over the next five years, the retailer required a modern technology foundation capable of supporting rapid scale and continuous innovation.

Bodycare’s vision for ‘Bodycare 2.0’ centred on delivering community-focused experiences powered by AI. Achieving this required a ground-up digital transformation, bringing together core infrastructure, in-store technologies and connected data flows within a single, scalable architecture.

Solution

PMC was selected as Bodycare’s strategic transformation partner, responsible for designing and delivering the digital infrastructure underpinning the retailer’s new store estate.

A dedicated team of digital architects worked with Bodycare to define and implement the technology roadmap, spanning store networking, security, facilities management, core IT and in-store technologies.

PMC also deployed Graphene Engage to power the point-of-sale environment, enabling traditional checkout, mobile POS and self-service experiences.

To support Bodycare’s AI ambitions, PMC implemented Connect, its proprietary integration platform. Acting as the orchestration layer across the technology landscape, Connect enables data to flow seamlessly between systems and provides the foundation for intelligent, AI-driven retail operations.
