Supporting testing demands for a health-focused initiative

Launched in September 2011, The Health Lottery is dedicated to addressing health inequalities across Great Britain. It operates on behalf of 6 society lotteries and partners with the People’s Health Trust to direct funds to critical grassroots health causes. Having raised over £132 million to date, the initiative supports essential health and wellness programs.

PMC was initially engaged to provide comprehensive testing services for The Health Lottery’s launch, including functional and integration testing of retail terminals and website functionality.

Following a successful go-live, The Health Lottery continued to engage PMC on a project-by-project basis for transactional testing. However, the sporadic nature of these engagements, coupled with changing demands, created challenges in resource allocation and continuous improvement.
